Something different today! In my last video I mentioned a great artist on Instagram; Novi Lim whose art I am in love with! Here's Novi's instagram link: instagram.com/artbynovi/
Novi has inspired me to use brushes for a change! Now this is a real departure for me so I need to get a feel for using them. My canvas is a 30 x 60cm/12'' x 24''
I also show my embellishing at the end of this video.
I am happy with my first attempt and looking forward to trying this technique again.

Colours:
Jo Sonja Aqua
Reeves Prussian Blue mixed with Jo Sonja Paynes Grey
Pebeo Iridescent Precious Gold
Nothing added to these, used straight from the tube.
Semco Titanium White (mixed with Flow Medium and a splash of water, as I wanted it to ''flow'' so I could create little splatters)

My brushes are made by Holcroft and bought from Riot art, they are 3'' and 4''
I used two Filbert brushes and one Paddle brush, I think the paddle worked best. I also used a couple of normal paint brushes that I've had forever!
Liquitex also have similar ones, but they are more expensive.

My lazy susan is glass and 20'' which was purchased from Coles supermarket, they can also be sourced from variety/dollar stores and on Amazon. The heavier the spinner, the easier it will spin, I'd also suggest you get the largest one you can so you can easily use it for larger substrates too. I have a 24'' (60cm) wood round placed on top of my lazy susan.

My metal spatulas are artist palette knives, they can all be purchased from fluid-art.co/
