So by now you've probably noticed in my pouring video's I mix the paint mixtures off camera. I do this because it's the part that takes the most amount of time and is honestly the least interesting. For me, it takes so long because I also mix my own pouring medium using 3 parts Elmer's Glue-All to one part water and then I take that mix and mix it with the paint - 3 parts paint, one part pouring medium. Then I add the silicone to almost all colours except one (usually the white or the black). It's an important part to do and one day I'll do a video to show you how I do it.
This piece is one of those pieces that you have to see in person to really appreciate because the details are so subtle. I use colour shift paints in a few of my pieces so when you tilt them in the light, some parts have a metallic sheen that bounce between two different colours. I used the aqua colour shift on this piece and it's so subtle you almost don't see it right away.
This one is called "Wash it All Away". For this piece I used acrylic paint, my own pouring medium mix, silicone, water, and my trusty torch on a 12x12" stretched canvas.
