I felt like making a black white gold abstract painting on a large 18" x 24" canvas. I used my favorite floating cup acrylic pour technique for this one.
The paint really poured out of the cup when I let the air in which caused the colors to blend together a lot. This could lead to muddy colors with some color schemes, but I love the subtle blending of greys and silvers the black white & gold created.
I've used these colors in many floating cup pours in my floating cup class. Every painting is unique, but this one might be my favorite.
If you would like to create an interesting abstract painting give the floating cup technique a try. It can create great results and it's incredibly fun.

I like the consistency of my paints to form the slightest mound when running off the stir stick into the cup of paint.
